In addition, PDTR-A22 also emplaced at Amy, intercepted 66.8 metres (from -12.0 to 54.8 metres) grading (uncut) 3.81 g/t gold and a cut grade of 1.75 g/t including 6.0 metres (from -12 to -6 metres) grading 35.25 g/t gold uncut (12.31 g/t cut). At the Elena Prospect, significant results include PDTR-E1-1 that intercepted 94.0 metres (from 0.0 to 94.0 metres) grading 2.17 g/t gold including 24.0 metres (from 64.0 to 88.0 metres) grading 5.07 g/t gold. In addition, PDTR-E2 also emplaced at Elena, returned 66.3 metres (from 59.7 to 126.0 metres) grading 2.06 g/t gold including 3.6 metres (from 76.0 to 79.6 metres) grading 22.19 g/t gold. Please see below table for complete results.
The Svetloye Project consists of nine prospects that occur over a linear distance of eight kilometres. Prior to the 2009 drilling program, the total inferred resources at Svetloye, including the Elena, Amy and Tamara prospects was estimated at 20.1 million tonnes grading 2.21 g/t gold containing 1.428 million ounces of gold (see Press Release dated April 23, 2009).
Gold is associated with extensive zones of vuggy silica, quartz-alunite and quartz-dickite-kaolinite alteration. This style of mineralization is common to Pierina, Veladero and other high sulphidation epithermal deposits. Fortress owns a 100% interest in the Svetloye Project.
